Navigating through the football offseason is a difficult process. The NFL season ends in early February, and then we have about two weeks of free agent frenzy before our attention turns to the draft. We spend a month preparing for three days and about 30 minutes of real-time action by our Cowboys.
We follow that up by soaking in what we can about whom the team signed as undrafted free agents; fantasizing about who might become the next Tony Romo or Miles Austin.
But somewhere around this time; our minds begin to wander and rational evaluation starts to stray a little. Maybe it's football withdrawal.
I recorded the following video to try to help some fans keep things in perspective as spring turns to summer and Dallas prepares for the bulk of the OTAs and training camp. If you have a few minutes to spare, take a look to see where I stand on a few things.
