The Dallas Cowboys take another step today, and over the weekend, in preparing for the 2012 season. Now that free agency and the draft have passed (well, technically free agents could still be signed), the Cowboys start some "on the field" work that will be the building blocks for the upcoming season. May 4-6 is the "rookie" mini-camp, it will see a gathering of the seven draft picks, (although Morris Claiborne will not participate as he's still recovering from a wrist injury), 21 undrafted free agents, five guys who are not rookies, and a group of guys in for tryouts.
