Former Cowboy Everson Walls Interviews Morris Claiborne

Everson Walls knows a thing or two about the cornerback position. Born in Texas, Walls was a interception machine in high school and became a great player at Grambling State University under the legendary Eddie Robinson. NFL scouts felt that Walls was too slow and he went undrafted, but the Dallas Cowboys signed him as an undrafted free agent.

Walls went on to have a great career with the Cowboys, but also played for the Giants and won a Super Bowl there. He wasn't the fastest player, but he was a ballhawk who finished his career with 57 interceptions.

Morris Claiborne looks to have the same characteristics that Walls had, but is a much better athlete. This was one of the best interviews I have seen in a very long time. Claiborne is quickly becoming my favorite Cowboy and I love his enthusiasm for the game of football.

The old #24 interviews the new #24, you have to love that these two got together and produced a great interview.

After watching that interview, I came away even more impressed with Claiborne. He just wants to be on the field so badly and that really gets me pumped up. It may be premature to say this, but I believe Claiborne is a star in the making. His athletic ability is off the charts, but he has the perfect attitude and approach towards the game. This is a kid who absolutely loves football and it looks like he will be putting in the extra work to ensure that he has success on the field.

Do you like Claiborne even more after this interview? Let's get a Claiborne conversation going in the comment section below.
