Trolling The Nation: What Other SB Nation Bloggers Said About Cowboys @ Giants

Getty Images

Longtime readers of this site know that we've made it a habit here at BTB to celebrate a big win by trolling around the other SB Nation NFL sites and seeing what the fans of other teams had to say while they were watching the game. The season-opener against the Super Bowl winners certainly qualifies as such a big game, especially given all the pregame hype surrounding the trip to the Meadowlands.

After the break, you can relive the Cowboys - Giants game via the 'play-by-play' in the open game threads of our fellow bloggers on our sister SB Nation sites. All quotes are taken directly from the open game threads from the SB Nation team sites as indicated in front of every comment. This is not intended to call out any of the posters, it's all in good fun.

Some minor edits have been made to improve the overall legibility, but no other changes have been made, no commentary added. If you have seen a post like this before, we've added a little something after the break that should make this version even more fun to read.

If you haven't seen one of these posts before, or would like to read more, I've added links to previous posts of this kind at the very bottom of this post.

In the past, I've received some questions asking why there are never any Cowboys fans in these threads. Two reasons: One, if you are a Cowboy fan and watched the game, you probably remember exactly how you felt during the game - no need for a rehash. Two, if you really want to see what other Cowboys fans said, you can always read through the open threads for the game here on BTB.
