[VIDEO] 5 Symbolic Plays Of What When Wrong With The 2012 Cowboys

The Cardiac Cowboys gave their fans palpitation after palpitation in 2012. Sometimes from inept play, sometimes from crazy comebacks and sometimes just for the heck of it. Here are 5 plays that symbolize the downside of the 2012 season.

I know that the large majority of us have already moved on to the offseason, trying to scrub away the impressions the 2012 season left embedded in our brains. OK, the season wasn't that bad even though we ended it at 8-8 and in third place in our division. A few weeks ago, I asked on Twitter if this season's 8-8 record was better or worse than last year's 8-8? Obviously they are functionally the same, but the journey to that .500 record was incredibly different.

The vast majority said that 2012's averageness was a better experience. There were however, several moments along the way that infuriated each and every one of us. To kick off BTB's offseason schedule on the Youtube channel, we've put together the Top 5 plays that symbolized what went wrong with the Cowboys 2012 season. I didn't want to just put together what I thought were the worst plays of the season. I wanted to use the opportunity to present the themes of it all.

Also, I chose to do this video first because the offseason is a time for hope and optimism. So while this had to be addressed, I wanted to get it out of the way first. The next video will be the Top 5 plays that POSITIVELY affected the season, and I already have that scripted out.

Hope you enjoy!
