NFL Mock Draft 2013: SB Nation Picks DT Johnathan Hankins For Cowboys

Monday is mock draft day for our SB Nation friends over at Mocking the Draft as they offer up a new mock draft to start the week.

The Senior Bowl is in the books and draftniks across the Nation are scrambling to incorporate the Senior Bowl info into their player profiles, big boards and mock drafts. Enter the latest mock draft from our appropriately namedMocking The Draft sister site on SB Nation.

For the last two weeks, MTD offered the Cowboys Florida defensive tackle Shariff Floyd as the 18th pick, but that has changed after the Senior Bowl. This week, Dan Kadar drops Floyd to the Colts at 24 and has the Cowboys taking defensive tackle Johnathan Hankins out of Ohio State with the 18th pick:

Much like St. Louis, the Cowboys will go in another direction if the best offensive linemen are off the board. As they transition to Monte Kiffin's 4-3 system, the Cowboys will need to add talent at defensive tackle. Hankins was used in multiple spot for Ohio State. His versatility would allow the Cowboys to base out of the 4-3, but still use 3-4 looks if they want.

You're bound to please a lot of Cowboys fans if you pick a lineman in a mock draft for the Cowboys. But is Hankins the best player left on the board for the Cowboys in this particular mock draft? Here's a selection of players picked after the 18th pick:

19 (Giants): Ezekiel Ansah, DE, BYU
22 (Rams): Jonathan Cooper, OG, North Carolina
24 (Colts): Shariff Floyd, DT, Florida
27 (Texans): Kenny Vaccaro, S, Texas
29 (Patriots): Eric Reid, S, LSU
30 (Falcons): Sam Montgomery, DE, LSU

Who would have been your pick?
