Welp, last week's feature game didn't work out exactly how I had hoped. The Terps faced their biggest test of the season last week and promptly got Winston'ed, 63-0 by Florida State. That's the type of loss that will keep you from rejoining the Top 25 anytime soon.
But it's another week, and there are a handful of nice matchups dotting the schedule for you to peruse today.
It starts (as all things CFB normally do) with the SoutEastern Conference.
The upstart 5-0 Missouri Tigers, freshly ranked at No. 25, travel to Athens to take on the 7th-ranked Georgia Bulldogs (4-1). Missouri is in just their second year in the conference and will look to avenge last year's 41-20 home defeat. Georgia is led by the very Drew Brees-like Aaron Murray. Murray is currently ranked as the 8th best QB prospect (66th overall) by CBS Sports.
This is a year where we could possibly see as many as 10-12 quarterbacks taken in the first four rounds of the draft.
Another top quarterback, should he choose to come out, is Oregon's Marcus Mariota, a redshirt sophomore, just like Johnny Football. The No. 2 ranked Ducks will take on 16th-ranked Washington in the 4pm ET afternoon game.
The highlight of the schedule, however, is probably at 330p ET, when the Gators of 17th-ranked Florida invade Baton Rouge to take on the 10th-ranked LSU Tigers. This is, by far, the best offense we've seen in years from LSU, but the Florida defense is daunting.
