Jerry Jones is impressed with the performance of the Cowboys' makeshift D-line, even if he doesn't know all their names:

"Don’t give me a quiz," Jones said with a laugh. "Really, I don’t know the entire roster in the defensive line."

"The no-name group – we’re talking about the defensive line. They really did – basically, their stamina is what impressed me tonight," Jones said. "Obviously their competitiveness never waned, but their stamina – they fought through that. I can tell you, you put about 10 or 12 pressures from that defensive line, and you’re spent. They fought all the way through. As far as I’m concerned they deserve a game ball tonight."

Terrance Williams is working hard on building that fabled 'chemistry' with Romo, and it appears to be working:

"You just can't ever give up on a play," Williams said. "You have to run your route towards the beginning and then if it happens to break down, you just got to find a way [to get open]. That's what [Romo] does all the time. Anytime that [Romo] gets in trouble like he did a few times today, I'm just trying to continue to get open."

Sean Lee said the defense had to find a way to bounce back after losing the game last week against the Broncos.

"Last week, the defense lost the game by not being able to get a stop," said linebacker Sean Lee, who led the Cowboys with 10 tackles, including a touchdown-saving stop of Robert Griffin III on the Redskins' first series. "When your offense plays as well as it does, putting up 48 points, and Tony plays as well as he did, you have to win those games if you want to be a good team, if you want to win Super Bowls. The defense let everybody down. We knew it, and we knew we had to find a way to bounce back this week."

Kyle Wilber and Joseph Randle are just two players among many who stepped up when their number was called this season.

"We have had a few situations like this over the course of the season already where these guys just have to be ready," coach Jason Garrett said. "They have to be ready each day in practice and in ball games. We got some guys banged up. Some guys stepped up."

The pass defense limited Griffin to 19-for-39 passing for 246 yards and a passer rating of only 58.3. Kiffin liked how his corners played.

"Our corners played lights out," Cowboys defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin said. "They really played outstanding. That was their best game against good wide receivers."

Joseph Randle scored his first TD last night - with a big assist from Travis Frederick who almost lifted him across the goal line. Randle kept the ball and asked Frederick to sign it as a way of recognizing Frederick's help:

"I told Travis to sign it for me," said Randle. "But he was like, ‘Nah, I can’t do that. I can’t sign your ball.’"

Dwayne Harris on the size of the hole the blockers opened up for him on his 86-yard punt return for a touchdown.

"That was like five or six yards deep," Harris said. "I had momentum going froward and from there, like I said, the guys up front do a great job of blocking. They opened up a hole that anybody could have run through. Kyle Orton came over and told me he could have run through that hole. So everyone did a great job."

Despite an interception, a pass breakup and four tackles, Scandrick was not at all pleased with his performance after missing a tackle that allowed the 45-yard TD run by Alfred Morris.

"That’s a tackle that I normally make," Scandrick said. "I’ve got to go and figure out a way to get him to the ground. No excuses, no explanations. I can play better. I probably played my worst game of the year."

Murray suffered a sprained MCL, Ware exited the game with a sprained quad. While Garrett relied with a "we'll see" when asked about either players status, Jerry Jones is optimistic about both:

"We’ll have to see on both of them. I did talk to DeMarcus and he seemed optimistic that he could be back out there. I didn’t talk to the trainer," Jones said. "We actually thought DeMarco was going to be back out there, but decided against it. That’s where that is. I don’t know how to talk about it until next week, but just from what I heard it doesn’t seem long-term there with them."
