Report: Sean Lee To Miss 3-4 Weeks With Hamstring Injury

The Cowboys loss in New Orleans has taken on larger dimensions.

The Dallas Cowboys took a beating in New Orleans, getting blown out 49-17 and looking very inept along the way. During the game they lost their stud linebacker Sean Lee to injury, and if reports are correct they will be without him for close to a month.

After the game Lee spoke about his injury and felt he would be able to come back from it but gave no timetable.

"It’s extremely frustrating for me, being out there and not being out there, letting people down, letting my teammates down and letting the team down," Lee said. "I have to find a way, I’ve talked about it before, to stay on this football field."

"I don’t want to miss any games," Lee said. "I want to be out there as much as I can. I try to do everything I can off the field to control it. It’s one of those deals where you have to find a way now to come back. That’s the only positive, that I will be able to come back."

The Cowboys defense was already a mess and without Lee, it's unlikely to improve. If he has to miss a month of time then it is entirely up to the offense to keep the Cowboys afloat this season. After the effort they turned in last night in New Orleans, Cowboys fans have every right to be worried.
