Cowboys Sign LB Orie Lemon, Concern About DeVonte Holloman's Neck Injury?

The Cowboys made a roster move and brought back an ex-player at a position that is getting thin.

Matthew Emmons-US PRESSWIRE

The Cowboys made a move on the roster at linebacker, adding former Cowboy Orie Lemon off of the Cardinals practice squad. Lemon spent some time with the Cowboys and actually played five games last year when the rash of injuries depleted the Cowboys defense. Lemon then succumbed to the injury bug himself and was out for the season. After some time with the Chiefs and Cardinals, he's back with Dallas.

Initially, everybody seemed to think this move was about the absence of Sean Lee and Justin Durant. But today we are hearing rumblings that all might not be fine with DeVonte Holloman. The rookie was supposed to return from neck injury and play in the starting lineup on the strong-side. But recent Tweets have put that in doubt. Here's Bryan Broaddus...

And this from Todd Archer...

We'll see if Jason Garrett sheds any light on it in his press conference, and then see if Holloman practices today.
