When Jerry Jones selected TE Gavin Escobar out of San Diego State, he warned reporters that he wasn't done at that position. The talk of the pressers was that Dallas intended to play a variety of multiple tight end sets, 12 personnel packages and even '13' that would get three tight ends on the field at a time.
In order to do such, the Cowboys would definitely need to bring additional tight ends into the fold, and last night they added their third new face of the draft season, inking BJ Stewart of Cumberland University to a UDFA deal.

Stewart checks in at 6'4" and weighing 263 lbs. He managed 27 reps at his Pro Day performance, running a 4.92 40 yard dash.
He joins Paul Freedman out of Virginia as the UDFA TEs the Cowboys have brought into the fold. He led the Raycom Classic post season all-star game with a TE-leading 3 catches for 41 yards. Reports say that he is a world-class college wrestler. He actually started his career as a defensive end, accruing 13.5 sacks his first two seasons.
OptimumScouting.com ranked him as the 45th best small school prospect and a Priority Free Agent candidate. That list also included Cowboys targets BW Webb (3rd), JJ WIlcox (35), Jakar Hamilton (57) and Eric Rogers (83).
All in all, it appears that brings the Cowboys UDFA haul to 16 players. Here's a look at the total list:

The biggest UDFA news of the weekend has been that the Cowboys signed ASU LB Brandon Magee to a $70,000 signing bonus, which is inline with the bonuses paid to 2012 seventh-round picks. Most knew of the Cowboys interest in Magee, and the bonus pretty much cements that he was their unofficial "seventh-rounder."
The team appears to now be at 93 players, so not everyone currently on the roster will make it to training camp.
