Cowboys discussing moving practice facilities from Valley Ranch - DMN
The oldtimers may remember that we used to call our daily news roundups "The Valley Ranch Review" or VRR for short. We had been toying with the idea of bringing that name back, but instead may have to think up a new name.

David Moore from the DMN reports that the Cowboys are considering moving their practice facilities. Potential options include the cities of Frisco and Arlington, while Irving (which Valley Ranch is part of) is obviously looking to retain the Cowboys.

Reasons for the move include the Cowboys' desire to have an indoor practice facility, the need for more space and the desire for a modern training environment.

Ranking NFL QBs: - CBSSports.com
Nothing generates more clicks in the offseason than a QB-ranking, especially if you mix in a healthy dose of controversy to get fans riled up. This one is fairly decent though, ranking Tony Romo just below the top four "Elite" quarterbacks.

Maybe the most maligned quarterback on this list, Romo has no postseason success. But he did just throw for 4,903 yards while completing 65.6 percent of his passes. His 19 picks tied a career high but his team put him in consistently bad spots. He's not nearly as bad as people want to believe. Romo has run roughshod into bad luck consistently in his career and neither his defense nor his general manager have ever done him any real favors -- other than handing him monster contracts.

OTAs could mark Doug Free deadline - Dallas Cowboys Blog - ESPN Dallas
The Twitterverse speculated about this yesterday, Todd Archer puts it in words: The Cowboys could be looking to finalize the restructure of Free's contract by the time the OTAs start on Tuesday next week. The reason? If Free were to suffer an injury during OTAs, the Cowboys would owe him his $7 million base salary.

Mackenzy Bernadeau, recovering from surgery, ‘not sure yet’ if he will participate in OTAs - DMN
Bernadeau injured his shoulder in the Cleveland game in week 11 and played through the injury in the remaining games. He underwent a similar operation to DeMarcus Ware in January and is still recovering from the procedure.

For Cowboys fans, this sets off all sorts of alarm bells, as Bernadeau also missed all OTAs last year due to surgeries on his hip and knee, which marked the start of what turned out to an injury-marred preseason for the offensive line.

Phil Costa will play ‘wherever the best fit is’ along the Dallas Cowboys’ offensive line - DMN
Wise choice, Phil, wise choice.

Cowboys Corner: Romo's input into offense is 'similar to every quarterback situation in the league,' Garrett says - Star Telegram
Garrett taps the brakes a little on the "Tony Romo: Playcaller" meme.

"It’s similar to every quarterback situation in the league," Garrett said. "I have been a quarterback in this league. I have been around those dynamics. I have been quarterback coach. I have been the offensive coordinator. In every organization you are trying to get that report [sic] with the quarterback and the offensive coordinator."

Miami Dolphins set to sign quarterback Aaron Corp - South Florida Sun-Sentinel.com
The Miami Dolphins signed free agent quarterback Aaron Corp yesterday. Corp had been signed by the Cowboys last week for rookie minicamp, then waived before camp as the Cowboys ran into roster size issues. He participated in rookie minicamp on a tryout basis, but when the Cowboys didn't sign him, the Dolphins snapped him up.

In related news, DT Brian Price was released with an injury settlement.
