Despite Bryant's stellar second half of the 2012 season and the accompanying offseason headlines, Austin is the Cowboys' main receiving threat with 10 receptions against the Giants last week. But Austin isn't worried about who is where on the depth chart.
"I’m taking it one day at a time, to be honest with you," Austin said. "I’m trying my best every day at practice, trying my best during the games, and we’ll see what happens."
"At the end of the day, defenses are going to play how they play and it’s our job to execute the play the best we can," Austin said. Quarterback Tony Romo is "going to get it to whoever needs to get it right then. That’s kind of the way we run it. Hopefully it works out."

Chiefs cornerback Dunta Robinson is expected to miss today's game. Robinson did not attend practices this week as he attended to a cousin who is in a coma after being struck by a car. Robinson is the third corner in Kansas City behind starters Brandon Flowers and Sean Smith, but he still played 26 of 74 snaps versus the Jaguars last week. Stepping up in Robinson's absence will be rookie Marcus Cooper and journeyman Ron Parker, both of whom only joined the Chiefs after final cuts.

Our own rabblerousr already explored the similarities between the Chiefs game this year and the Seahawks game last year, and Jason Garrett concedes the Cowboys have had similar thoughts.
"I think there are some lessons to learn," coach Jason Garrett said. "We had a good win last year, up in New York, a game the visiting team hadn't won in 12 years. That was a big win for our team, to win one on the road against a really, really good football team, in a hard environment."
"In Seattle, we didn't do the things that winning football teams do. We fumbled the opening kickoff and made some other mistakes. It’s a crowd as loud as there is in the National Football League, got even louder early on in that game. There will be some similar challenges this week."
