Bryant missed some practice days last week with back problems, but said his back was fine on Sunday and that he'll be ready for the Chargers.
"I promise you it’s nowhere near how it was last Monday," Bryant said. "I’ll be probably 100 percent on Sunday."

After re-watching the game, Broaddus concludes that it was a collective team effort across the defensive line that got that job done.
"Kiffin was able to just use four man pressure in the game which allowed him to drop seven and handle the Rams skill players underneath and down the field. Where this Cowboys defensive line was most effective was when they were running games upfront with their twist packages. There was constant pressure on Sam Bradford to the point where he really didn’t have the time to look down the field for a receiver. It was a dominating day, for a group that once again had to play without Anthony Spencer but were able to get the job done."

Garrett was very complimentary of the interior offensive line, but singled out RT Doug Free for a special mention when he said free may be the most improved player on the line. Garrett said he thinks a second year with Bill Callahan and his techniques might have something to do with that.
"He really has been impressive since the start of OTAs, really trying to take advantage of the opportunity," Garrett said. "I think he’s working on some technical things that will help him. I think he’s playing tougher and he’s staying on blocks, both as a pass protector but also in the run game. We saw a lot of that yesterday."

Murray remembers Garrett's advice well: credit your teammates.
"Whenever you’re able to run the ball and pass it the way we did, you’ve got to give Callahan credit," Murray said. "He called a great game for us. [Tony] Romo put us in great positions to be successful as an offense. The holes were there. The offensive line played well."

Sabin points out that the Cowboys only have 16 penalties for 169 yards after three weeks this year, down from 31 penalties and 318 penalty yards after three games last year.
"We’re making an emphasis on it and we understand those plays don’t help you. They hurt you," head coach Jason Garrett said. "Again, you never want to take your team’s aggressiveness away from them but you just have to minimize those kinds of plays."
"We have to take care of the ball better, we have to minimize the penalties and not beat ourselves….I think we have done a pretty good job of that so far."
