Tony Romo Injury: X-Rays Come Back Negative For Cowboys QB

It's all good for #9.

Tim Heitman-USA TODAY Sports

Tony Romo took a big hit in the Giants game, enough so that he lay on the turf for a few minutes before easing his way off the field. Romo recovered enough to start the second half of the game and play the rest of it. There were still questions around the hit and if Romo was actually injured, enough so that the Cowboys had some X-rays done.

Good news for the Cowboys, the X-rays came back negative. Romo is just a little sore but will be good to go next week against the Kansas City Chiefs. Stephen Jones told The Fan:

"We feel optimistic with the tests coming back negative,'' Cowboys vice president Stephen Jones tells 105.3 The Fan's Elf and Slater. "He'll be sore but something he'll be able to play with, as it looks right now.''

Stephen's daddy added:

"You've got to come to the conclusion that this is one tough player, one tough man," Jones said.

Bullet dodged!
