Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

The Dallas Cowboys enter week seven of the 2014 NFL season with a surprising 5-1 record, fresh off a convincing over the World Champs, the Seattle Seahawks. After winning that game, the Cowboys are getting a lot of respect around the league. That's all good, but now they start playing NFC East games and rivalry games are always unpredictable. To start off the NFC East slate they welcome the New York Giants.

The Giants will look like a different team this year as they are using a new, west coast scheme on offense. It didn't start out so well, they stumbled out of the gate with two losses. Then it started to click as they reeled off three consecutive wins. Last week, it all fell apart as they were blanked by the Philadelphia Eagles and they suffered eight sacks during the game. In addition, they lost their big playmaker at wide receiver, Victor Cruz. They will also be missing Rashad Jennings who had been providing some solid running.

The Cowboys will be playing their first game with a new offensive lineman this year; Doug Free is out at right tackle and backup Jeremy Parnell will have to step up. It remains to be seen if the Cowboys can continue their punishing running game with the new guy on the line.
