Every week, 250+ participants participate in our Pick 256 Challenge, a season-long contest in which BTB members and readers get to pick the straight-up winners for all games each week.
The Cowboys are off this week, but that doesn't mean the Week 11 action is of no interest to us, as there are a handful of games that could have a direct impact n the Cowboys' playoff ambitions, chief aming them Eagles @ Packers game.
In the 10 weeks of our Pick 256 Challenge, our participants have picked every game, including all nine Eagles games to date. 15 of our members have managed the impressive feat of predicting the correct outcome in eight of those nine Eagles games, which is why we have dubbed that merry band of Chip Kelly acolytes the "Eagles Whisperers." For Sunday's game in Green Bay, 14 of the 15 Eagles Whisperers are predicting a Packers win, only one is predicting an Eagles win. Here's how they picked:
Packers Win: boys.camncrew, BuckyWaters, Bvanzanman, Florida dodger, Jebediah Flibberbrush, LoboTX, Mighty Blue Star, NCHeelsBoysFan, Prfbrain, Rajohnnn, revellyre, San Antonio Al, UTCowboy, Vancity Cowboy
Eagles Win: CowboysWin
We have four Giants Whisperers who all correctly picked eight of the nine Giants game so far (Chuck Sisco, hbdc, Jeff Landrith, Pagrebo), and all picked the 49ers to win against the Giants this week.
Our single Redkskins Whisperer (Chuck Sisco, 8 of 9 in Redskins games) predicts a Redskins win over the Buccaneers.
Interesting tidbit from this weekend's picks: Our consensus pick has the Seahawks over the Chiefs by two votes and the Patriots over the Colts, also by two votes. As a result, not a single participant has picked the exact Consensus Picks for the weekend as outlined in the table above.
Over to you: Where do you see the biggest upsets brewing versus our Consensus Picks?
Here's a link to the Excel file with all the picks for Week 11, for those who are interested in tracking the results themselves.
Once you open the file, you'll see a blue title bar into which you can enter the winning teams to see where you end up among all participants. The title bar is currently populated with the winner of the Thursday game, as well as the consensus picks for the remaining games. If you want to see how you fared during or after the weekend games, simply input your own picks into the title bar and see how many correct picks you have.
In any case, have fun with the file and good luck with your picks.
