Every week, 250+ participants take part in our Pick 256 Challenge, a season-long contest in which BTB members and readers get to pick the straight-up winners for all games each week.
Three Week 13 games are already in the books after the triple-header on Thanksgiving, and if not for the Cowboys' loss against the Eagles, all three games would have been in line with the consensus pick.
As it is, only eight of the 252 Week 13 participants got all three picks right, while at the other end of the spectrum, five participants have started the week 0-3.
The Thursday games all had NFC playoff implications, so there are just two games left on Sunday that will impact the Cowboys' playoff chances.
- Arizona traves to Atlanta looking to maintain its division lead in the NFC West.
- Green Bay hosts New England in what promises to be an interesting game; the Packers hope to maintain their lead over the Lions in the NFC North.
Outside of those two games, Cowboys fans may have some residual interest in watching the Giants and Redskins play for draft spots, which may be a reason why Cowboys fans could be cheering for their division rivals: Wins by the Giants and Redskins will be meaningless for the playoff race, but could drop both division rivals down a few spots on the draft order.
With the Cowboys unavailable to cheer for, and the Eagles and 49ers unavailable to cheer against, which team or teams will you be rooting for on Sunday?
Here's a link to the Excel file with all the picks for Week 13, for those who are interested in tracking the results themselves.
Once you open the file, you'll see a blue title bar into which you can enter the winning teams to see where you end up among all participants. The title bar is currently populated with the winners of the Thursday games, as well as the consensus picks for the remaining games. If you want to see how you fared during or after the weekend games, simply input your own picks into the title bar and see how many correct picks you have.
In any case, have fun with the file and good luck with your picks.
