Our Pick 256 Challenge is a season-long contest in which BTB members and readers get to pick the straight-up winners for all games each week.
Last week, the Cowboys kicked off the Week 14 action with a road win in Chicago on Thursday Night Football. The win apparently set the tone for the weekend, as 10 out the 16 games last weekend saw the visiting team walk away with the win, an unusually high number.
This week, only five teams are favorites to win on the road: Green Bay, Denver, Pittsburgh, NY Jets, and New Orleans.
But the week kicked off in an auspicious manner when the 4.5-point underdog Cardinals won an ugly game in St. Louis. Does this bode well for the road teams this week?
The fan vote seems to think so. In addition to the five oddsmaker favorites to win on the road, the fan vote has the Cowboys winning in Philadelphia and Cincinnati winning in Cleveland by the narrowest of margins.
If you had to pick a road underdog for an upset win this weekend, which team would that be?
Here's a link to the Excel file with all the picks for Week 15, for those who are interested in tracking the results themselves.
Once you open the file, you'll see a blue title bar into which you can enter the winning teams to see where you end up among all participants. The title bar is currently populated with the winners of the Thursday games, as well as the consensus picks for the remaining games. If you want to see how you fared during or after the weekend games, simply input your own picks into the title bar and see how many correct picks you have.
In any case, have fun with the file and good luck with your picks.
