Cowboys Thursday Practice & Injury Report: Murray, Romo Present - Martin, Free Absent

Still missing a couple of key cogs on the offensive line.

Tim Heitman-USA TODAY Sports

The Thursday injury report for the Dallas Cowboys shows that DeMarco Murray is dressed and participating in individual drills again. It's not sure if he will participate in team drills yet. As long as he doesn't do the team drills, he will be designated as "not participating" on the official injury report. Jason Garrett said he hopes Murray could do more today, but didn't commit to that scenario.

Tony Romo was back at practice today after taking his regular day off. Unfortunately he was not joined by two key members of the offense. Right tackle Doug Free and right guard Zack Martin were both absent from practice for a second day. Both players are dealing with ankle injuries and have been called day-to-day by coach Garrett. Owner Jerry Jones thinks that Martin is likely to play on Sunday, but is worried that Free might not be able to go. In that case, Jeremy Parnell would take over.

Defensive tackle Josh Brent and linebacker Dekoda Watson both missed today's practice. Rolando McClain must be back at practice today, there was no mention of his absence after missing yesterday.
