It may be Christmas, but that doesn't mean the Dallas Cowboys get a vacation day from work. The team assembled today for another practice before their Week 17 game against rival Washington. Since it's Thursday, Tony Romo was back under center at practice. Last week, Romo actually scrambled for yards against the Colts, probably a good indication that he's feeling as good as he has all season. The Cowboys and Romo have done a masterful job of managing his back issues besides the pain shot hiccup on Thanksgiving.
Also back at practice today was Rolando McClain, yesterday he was dealing with the aftermath of his house fire. Zack Martin and Josh Brent were both practicing, a good indication that both will be available for the Washington game. Missing practice again today was right tackle Doug Free, who is likely going to be sidelined until the first playoff game at the earliest.
DeMarco Murray also missed practice but it was because he was sick, not because of any issues with his surgically-repaired left hand. Linebacker Dekoada Watson is still out.
