Source: Henry Melton Has Visit Lined Up With The Cowboys

Finally, some news we've been waiting on, a first step.

Ronald Martinez

It's been rumored for a long time that the Dallas Cowboys were interested in Bears' free agent defensive tackle Henry Melton. It all made sense since the Cowboys were likely losing their starting 3-tech tackle (and they did in Jason Hatcher), and Melton played under Rod Marinelli in Chicago. He's only 27, and his price tag is likely to be discounted because of his ACL injury last year. It's just made perfect sense.

Now, it looks like he's going to visit the Cowboys.

He's already met with the Vikings and is now on his way to the Super Bowl champs. Hopefully they won't throw a ton of money at him after losing a couple of defensive linemen this offseason. The Cowboys could sure use Melton's talents in rebuilding their defensive line.
