He's missed 15 games over the past two years. Bruce Carter will move to Sam. Mosley is a middle linebacker through and through with sideline-to-sideline range, powerful hands, and plus pass-coverage skills. Mosley would solidify the second level of Dallas' defense, which was the most porous in football last season.

I like Donald a lot. I think the Cowboys like him a lot, too, but I don’t know that for sure. We’ll get a better feel for this as the draft gets closer. He certainly fills a need and is a playmaker. They need a lot of those guys on defense. I say all that, but I wouldn’t trade up to get him. I’m not trading up for anybody really. They can’t give away a ton of picks with the holes they must address in the draft. That’s my opinion.
But we don’t know how other teams feel about Donald. Some might be scared off a little because of his height. Some might have some other concerns. He had a great Senior Bowl and a great combine after a great season at Pitt. I think the Cowboys are in a good position to grab him, but if not there will be other players who can help them this year at No. 16.
