Recently, the Dallas Cowboys finally announced their preliminary dates for the 2014 training camp in Oxnard, CA. As it stands right now, training camp will take place July 22nd - August 15th. The Cowboys will have one pre-season game in between those dates, August 7th at the San Diego Chargers. Dallas will leave Oxford and play their second pre-season game against the Baltimore Ravens on August 16th.
In between those games, the Cowboys are trying to line up practices with the Oakland Raiders. The Raiders have been a frequent pre-season partner for the Cowboys while they train out in California, but this year the two teams will not play each other.
If the Cowboys do practice against the Raiders, they'll get an up close look at Khalil Mack, the fifth overall pick in the 2014 draft. Obviously the Raiders are excited about having Mack and his pass-rushing abilities. Other notable rookies for the Raiders include quarterback Derek Carr and guard Gabe Jackson.
