Dallas Cowboys Roster Cuts 2014: Agent Tweets Ken Boatright Has Been Released

The Dallas Cowboys picked up Ken Boatright earlier this offseason and saw him produce in the preseason, but it wasn't enough to earn a roster spot. Boatright's agent tweets that Boatright will be released.

Dallas Cowboys released DE Ken Boatright and want to put him on practice squad. After the preseason he had don't be shocked if he's claimed.

Boatright created a little bit of excitement in the preseaosn games, showing some ability as a pass rusher albeit against the backups in most of those games. With the injury situation at defensive end, Boatright was thought to have a chance early in the year as a fill in, but the Cowboys want to slide him to the practice squad.

Todd Archer says Phillip Tanner will also be released but that the Cowboys might bring him back depending on the injury situation at running back.
