The Dallas Cowboys gathered today to continue preparation for their season-opening game against the San Francisco 49ers this Sunday. The good news is that all but two players were practicing, and the Cowboys defensive line is as healthy as it has been for a long while.
The only two players not suited up today were Anthony Spencer and Darrion Weems. Spencer's absence is expected, no one is quite sure when he'll begin practicing but you would expect it to happen over the next couple of weeks since the Cowboys kept him on the 53-man roster.
As Jason Garrett alluded to in his press conference, George Selvie returned to practice today, although he will probably be limited. Defensive tackle Terrell McClain practiced again after participating in Monday's session as he hopes to get reps in Sunday's game. Morris Claiborne is also practicing but will need a pain shot before the game to help his ailing shoulder.
