Trolling The Nation: Detroit Lions @ Dallas Cowboys Reloaded

New, comments

Savor every last detail of Sunday's game as you read through what other fans had to say as they watched the Dallas Cowboys outlast the Detroit Lions in the wild card game last night.

Sarah Glenn/Getty Images

As we've done repeatedly in the past, today we're re-living yesterday's game by taking a peek at what the fans of other NFL teams had to say while they were watching the Cowboys beat the Lions to advance in the playoffs.

Disclaimer: All quotes are taken directly from the open game threads from the SB Nation team sites as indicated in front of every comment. Some minor edits have been made to improve the overall legibility of the quotes and to satisfy the site guidelines of our board, but no other changes have been made, no commentary added.

On some of these Trolling The Nation posts, you can't help but feel a little sorry for the fans of the opposing teams (as well as fans of other teams who are not playing at all) as their initial euphoria wanes and transforms into The Tears of Unfathomable Sadness. Then again ... not really.

In the past, I've received some questions asking why there are never any Cowboys fans in these threads. Two reasons: One, if you are a Cowboys fan and watched the game, you probably remember exactly how you felt during the game - no need for a rehash. Two, if you really want to see what other Cowboys fans said, you can always read through the open threads for the game here on BTB.
