Tony Romo Is Back At Practice

Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports

We knew he was coming back to practice this week, but the reality of it is worthy of note. Tony Romo is participating in drills at the Cowboys practice today. Jon Machota blessed with actual video of a Romo connection with Terrance Williams on a pass.

Of course Romo can't play in the next two games, but his presence might just brighten up a Dallas organization that has experienced some tough times recently. Dropping five games in a row, dropping the running back who was supposed to be your starter, some sideline controversies - the Cowboys could use a breath of fresh air and maybe Romo's presence will be it.

The Cowboys feel very confident that when the time arrives, Romo will be able to play. That date is November 22nd against the Dolphins.

Jerry Jones said Tuesday morning that there's no reason to think Romo won't be ready to play by that date.

"No. There's no reason," Jones said on 105.3 The Fan's Shan and RJ show [KRLD-FM]. "He's really doing well. You'd like to say ahead of schedule but who knows about that? But still, I know of no reason he won't be playing at that time."

The big question is will the Cowboys even have a chance at the NFC East crown when Romo returns.
