Cowboys 2015 Free Agents: Cowboys Pursuing Defensive End Derrick Morgan?

Are the Cowboys starting to make some moves in free agency?

Don McPeak-USA TODAY Sports

While the NFL and the Cowboys wait on a decision about DeMarco Murray's future, Dallas might be starting to look at other free agent prospects. We knew the Cowboys were not going to get in on the big name signings of the first day, instead waiting to see where the market is going and then trying to jump on bargains. But they may be starting that process now.

Defensive end is certainly a position of need for the Cowboys. Derrick Morgan is a former first-round pick for the Titans, but has never lived up to that lofty pedigree. He's been a steady player averaging around six sacks a year for the past three years.

In other defensive end news, it was rumored early on that the Cowboys might have interest in Adrian Clayborn as a reclamation project. He is also meeting with the Falcons.

It's doubtful the Falcons will sign both players, so maybe the Cowboys will make a run at one of them.
