The Cowboys wrapped up their pre-draft visits on Wednesday by bringing in two more high-profile national prospects.
Oklahoma wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham (6-5, 237) is a troubled prospect but could be a Calvin Johnson (6-5, 237) starter kit. With all other Cowboys targets possibly taken early, DGB presents a really interesting possibility at #27, and rabblerousr wondered this morning whether "he might just turn out to be the only guy with a first-round grade on their board at that point in the draft."
DT Carl Davis out of Iowa is also an interesting late addition, as the Cowboys had seemingly all but ignored defensive tackles so far, only bringing in TCU's Chucky Hunter for Dallas Day and having a private workout with Xavier Cooper out of Washington State.
There were early reports that Missouri DE Shane Ray may have been in Dallas for a visit, but that turned out not to be accurate. This highlights a slight issue we have with these visit trackers. The Cowboys do not officially release the names of their visitors, and while all the names on our tracker are sourced, not all sources are entirely clear about the difference between an official visit and a private workout outside of Dallas - or whether a visit really happened or not.
