Dallas Cowboys Draft 2015: Social Media Reaction To Rounds 2-3

The Cowboys certainly made their splash in the draft this evening, let's look at what the reactions we're over their selections at 60 and 91.

Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

The Dallas Cowboys have let the NFL Draft come to them, and they have certainly been rewarded for their patience.

Last night, just about every Cowboys' fan here in Chicago at the Draft Town Event we're praying that Randy Gregory would be taken at 27. Byron Jones was the selection, but nobody believed that Gregory would have got past New England at 32. How surprised was the world when the Cowboys selected Gregory at 60? Well, take a look...

Of course Gregory comes with some baggage, but it doesn't look like that worries the young man.

That's a big favor to ask of the 3-time Super Bowl winner and Hall of Famer...However, when it comes to CowboysNation, never doubt number 88

Looks like Gregory is headed for the right kind of locker room, Dallas will welcome their new defensive end with open arms and a little taste of discipline. Both attributes will help this young man flourish in Big D! Now we take a look at the third-round selection that was not quite met with extreme joy or anticipation. However, if you look at it through a clean glass, it's all spelled out for you:

You see the Cowboys have a giant hole at a role position that may be a little bit more important to them than we initially believed. Jermey Parnell left for Jacksonville, and with Doug Free's injury history, the Cowboys got their man.

Green does have some durability questions himself but some are confident he can be a solid contributor:

Some folks thought they were better scouts than the Cowboys though like fans from other teams who said:

Regardless of what others may have wanted, the Cowboys have been one of the best drafting teams over the last five years. Swing tackle outweighed running back in their minds but hey...Jay Ajayi and Jeremy Langford are still around. The Cowboys still have the opportunity to finish what they started and despite criticism they got two blue-chip talents in rounds one and two coupled with an important piece of depth in round three. Stay tuned to BTB for constant coverage of the remainder of this year's draft.
