Cowboys Announce 2015 Training Camp Schedule In Oxnard

Back to Oxnard in just two months.

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

It seems like a long time to wait, but it is only two months. In two months from now, the Dallas Cowboys will return to Oxnard, California and begin their 2015 training camp. The team laid out their preliminary dates of arrival and departure, along with a practice schedule for their foray into California.

The Cowboys will be spending a lot of time in the pleasant weather of Oxnard, they have a full month on their schedule. The team will arrive in Oxnard on July 28th and will have their first practice on July 30th. The Blue and White scrimmage will occur on Aug 9th. The team will have two preseason games while out on the coast, Thursday Aug 13th at San Diego and Sunday Aug 23rd at San Francisco. The team will also squeeze in some practices with the St. Louis Rams between those preseason games. On Friday Aug 28th the team will break camp and head back to Dallas.

Most of the practices will be at 4 PM Pacific time, so reports of practice will be late into the evening for fans who are on the East Coast. The team will have off days on Monday Aug 3rd, Friday Aug 7th, Friday Aug 14th, Wednesday Aug 19th, and Monday Aug 24th. They will also have travel days on the day before each preseason game.

There you have it. Just two months away from the start of training camp. You can now plan your trips to Oxnard if you're going.
