Tony Romo: I think it'll work out with Dez Bryant | Dallas Morning News
Tony Romo isn't worried about his star receiver not getting a deal done with the Cowboys by the July 15 deadline.
"The NFL is a business, it really is," Romo said at his Q&A at his football camp in Burlington, Wisconsin via myracinecounty.com. "You’ll see that side sometimes, with DeMarco leaving and Dez not being part of the offseason. I think it will work out with Dez."

2014 Pressure Plays: Defenses - Football Outsiders
Here's an interesting take on the Cowboys' defense in 2014. By FO's reckoning, the Cowboys weren't a good pass-rushing team, ranking just 27th in pressure percentage. And when they did create pressure, it wasn't very effective either, as their pressure DVOA only ranks 28th in the league.
But here's the kicker: When the Cowboys didn't get pressure (frankly, that was the vast majority of time), the non-pressure DVOA ranked them as the fourth-best pass defense in the league. And that's good news for this year.
Last year's article illustrated how non-pressure DVOA was more consistent year-to-year than pressure DVOA, a finding consistent with offensive numbers. Non-pressure DVOA has also done a better job of highlighting a defense's true ability. Since 2010, the correlation between pressure DVOA and overall defensive DVOA is 0.38, while the correlation between non-pressure DVOA and overall DVOA is 0.80. That's partly because non-pressure plays represent a much larger sample of plays, but it also supports the idea that the chaos inherent in pressure plays isn't a reliable indicator of defensive ability. Just like in the offensive version of this article, the non-pressure numbers might actually be more revealing.
Reporter who first made Dez Bryant Wal-Mart video rumors public doesn't regret actions | Dallas Morning News
Mike Florio, who hasn't been arrested yet, once again was the source of the most offseason hot air when he spoke of an alleged Dez Bryant video that never materialized.
Florio was asked on the Glass Half Empty podcast if he regretted how he went about making the story public.
"I don’t know if I’d use the word 'regret,'" Florio said. "I think I would’ve done it differently if I hadn’t been on a radio station with a couple of guys — Shan and RJ — I’m very comfortable with. I’m not blaming them. One thing that we all learn when we speak extemporaneously in any setting is you have to always have that filter up."
Blah, blah, blah.
La'el Collins has something to prove - The Shreveport Times
I think the term "having a chip on the shoulder" is one of the most overused phrases in all of sports. But boy, does La'el Collins ever have a chip on his shoulder now that he's playing for the Cowboys in the NFL.
"I know where I would have been. I know I would have been drafted in the first round, and I'm good with that," Collins said. "I know my talent. That doesn't make me any less of a player."
"Yeah, but at the same time, that doesn't matter. I've been playing this game for a long time, I've got nothing but love and passion for this game, and I know that one day, in the future, everything is going to work out for me just the way I want it to work out," Collins said. "All I have to do is continue to work and continue to do the things I've always been doing, and I'll be fine."
Redskins will benefit the least from McClain, Hardy, Richardson suspensions, Eagles the most | Comcast SportsNet Washington
Peter Kailey takes a look at how Sheldon Richardson, Rolando McClain, and Greg Hardy's suspensions affect the NFC East -- or don't, in the case of the Redskins.
Philadelphia is the team that will gain the most from the two suspensions. The Eagles play the Cowboys in Week 2 and the Jets in Week 3, so they'll get to face both defenses when they're missing key pieces in their respective front sevens.
New York is only affected by the McClain news. They start their season in Dallas, but don't play the Jets until Week 13, so they'll have to face the Jets defense when they're at 100%.
And as for the Redskins, Thursday's news won't really affect them at all. Their two matchups against Dallas come in Week 13 and Week 17, and they don't play New York until a week after Richardson makes his return.
Oddsmakers: Cowboys are 10-1 to win Super Bowl 50 - CBSSports.com
While the Packers are the new favorites to win Super Bowl 50, the Cowboys have the fifth-best odds at 10-1, just behind the Patriots at 9-1.
Eagles' 2016 Super Bowl odds have changed. For the worse - Bleeding Green Nation
The Eagles' odds to win the Super Bowl went from 18/1 to 20/1.
So what's the deal? Maybe people are slightly concerned with the fact Sam Bradford isn't a full participant in practice yet. Otherwise, I'm not sure why these odds changed following Philadelphia's offseason workouts. I mean, didn't they hear that Byron Maxwell guaranteed the Eagles are going to make the Super Bowl?
