NFL Mock Draft 2016: CBS Sports' Dane Brugler Picks WR Laquon Treadwell For Cowboys

Dane Brugler of CBSSports offered up his first mock draft of the year, and we take a belated peek at his selection.

While some fanbases are busy getting themselves ready for the playoffs, Cowboys fans are busy getting ready for the draft. Enter the first mock draft of the year by Dane Brugler of CBS Sports and occasionally of Dallascowboys.com.

In his mock draft, Brugler has OT Laremy Tunsil going to the Titans, Jared Goff going to the Browns, and Joey Bosa going to the Chargers. That still leaves a lot of options for the Cowboys, and Brugler goes with Ole Miss wide receiver Laquon Treadwell.

The Cowboys will consider a quarterback here and need help on defense, but the window is closing with Tony Romo at quarterback and Dallas needs to surround him with more talent. Treadwell, who is similar to Dez Bryant with the way he attacks the football, would be an ideal fit opposite Dez.

This is not the first time Treadwell has drawn camparisons to Dez Bryant, and there is little doubt that a receiver like Treadwell could supercharge the Cowboys' offense.

But Treadwell is just one of many options available to the Cowboys in this mock draft. Here are some of the other prospects taken with a pick in the top ten in this mock:

5. JAC: Jalen Ramsey, CB, Florida State
7. SF: Paxton Lynch, QB, Memphis
9. TB: Vernon Hargreaves, CB, Florida
10. NYG: Shaq Lawson, DE, Clemson
11. CHI: Myles Jack, LB, UCLA

Most of us are still getting to know all the different draft prospects, but if this was the way the draft fell, would you pick Treadwell or one of the five other prospects a little further down this particular mock draft?

Tell us in the attached poll and in the comments below.
