At 5-1, the Cowboys currently have a one-game lead over the Eagles, and a 1.5-game lead over both the Redskins and Giants, as the table below shows.
NFC East Standings Heading into Week 8 | |||
Team | Wins | Losses | GB |
Dallas | 5 | 1 | - - |
Philadelphia | 4 | 2 | 1.0 |
Washington | 4 | 3 | 1.5 |
New York | 4 | 3 | 1.5 |
With the Eagles traveling to Dallas, and the Redskins traveling to London to face the Bengals, there's a chance the Cowboys could create even more separation in the NFC East.
A Cowboys win over the Eagles would drop the Eagles two games back, and a Redskins loss against the Bengals would drop them 2.5 games back. The Giants have a bye week, but in case of a Cowboys win, they would also drop two games back.
What are the odds of that happening? Our BTB Panel thinks the odds are high; the Cowboys are unanimous picks against the Eagles, and nine out ten writers like the Bengals over the Redskins.
Here's how we think the rest of the Week 8 games will turn out.
