Week 13 NFL Picks: Can Cowboys Extend Their Lead In The NFC East?

New, comments

We pick all Week 13 games and like the Cowboys' chances of creating more separation atop the NFC East.

Sitting pretty atop the league with a 10-1 record, Cowboys fans may have lost sight of what's going on elsewhere in the league.

You may not have realized this, but the standings in the other divisions are pretty close. Through the first 12 weeks, there are 21 teams either in or within one game of a playoff spot.

That means many teams will be gearing up to make a playoff push down the stretch. And the Cowboys can't afford to be caught napping, as the two-game lead they currently enjoy over the Giants in the NFC East could evaporate quickly - in theory.

Nine of our ten writers polled below have the Giants losing in Pittsburgh, while all 10 have the Cowboys winning in Minnesota, which would help the Cowboys extend their lead atop the NFC East.

We'll see how that works out over the course of Week 13 of course, but for now, here are our picks for this week.
