After the disappointing loss in the season opener to the Giants, a lot of the public discussion has focused on what went wrong in the game. And that discussion has included the coaching, the playcalling, the scheme, mental mistakes, bad reads, bad routes, and much more.
One player on the receiving end of a lot of the criticism is defensive tackle Tyrone Crawford, who acknowledged that he and the rest of the defensive line needs to play better.
"I can't make an excuse for how we played," Crawford said after the loss to the Giants. "We played bad up front, and we can't let that happen again."
And while Crawford continues to deal with criticism for his play, he also received an unconditional vote of confidence from what looks to be a young fan via a postcard (yes, they still exist).
Thank you Caitlyn for the support! One the best cards I've ever received! #CowboysNatio... https://t.co/jKic1UqHxO pic.twitter.com/sabUsE7bLt
