Hope is alive and well in all four NFC East cities heading into Week 1, and fans in every one of those cities are hoping that their team will jump out to a 1-0 record. But given that the Cowboys and Giants are playing a divisional game, that's not going to happen, and with the way the odds are shaping up for Week 1, there may be more NFC East teams with a losing record than a winning record.
The experts and algorithms tracked by NFLPickwatch.com are not overly excited by any of the NFC East teams, and expect only two NFC East teams to win their games this weekend:
74% like the Steelers over the Redskins
72% like the Eagles over the Browns
56% like the Giants over the Cowboys
Our writers take a dimmer view, and only see the NFC EAST emerging with a 1-3 record from this weekend. Naturally the sole win belongs to the Dallas Cowboys. What do you think, does the NFC East stink as badly as some suggest?
Without further ado, here are our picks for Week 1, 2016.
