In our inaugural mock draft database of the season, we take a peek at 35 different mock drafts by some of the better-known draftniks on the interwebs to see whether we can get a better feeling for the lay of the land at the bottom of the first round.
As it currently stands, 31 of the 35 mocks are projecting the Cowboys to take a defensive player. If you were locked in on a wide receiver or perhaps even a tight end, you may have to start rethinking your position.

We have a little over 90 days until the first round of the 2017 NFL draft kicks off, so a lot can and will happen until the Cowboys make their first pick. The mock draft community has seemingly locked in on defensive ends as the number one priority for the Cowboys - even if it did take me 35 tries to finally find a mock that had the Cowboys taking DeMarcus Walker.
