The teams are set for the Super Bowl. We have the Evil Empire, the 800-pound gorilla of the NFL, the New England Patriots versus the upstarts from the Dirty South, the Atlanta Falcons.
So who ya got?
The Patriots are the early favorites, coming out of the gate as three-point favorites. They are a "been-there, done-that" crew led by the hoodie, Bill Belichick, and the Golden Boy, Tom Brady. They just keep winning no matter what the rest of the NFL does, or what the NFL does to them. But unless you’re a Patriots fan, it’s hard to root for them.
On the other side, the Falcons are in the Super Bowl for only the second time in their history. They are the upstarts who have a loaded offense led by Matt Ryan with a defense that has been improving. In some ways they are kind of like the Cowboys, only a little more high-powered in the passing game. Can they actually pull off the upset?
Hit the poll and tell us who will win, then hit the comments and tell us who you are rooting for and why.
