New, comments

The first practice of the week was missing some offensive pieces for the Cowboys.

As expected, Ezekiel Elliott did not attend today’s Dallas Cowboys practice. Zeke is suspended while the NFLPA has filed an appeal to get him back on the field. It’s unknown exactly when we will have that ruling.

In the meantime, Alfred Morris was getting some first-string reps.

Also missing was Tyron Smith, who has been taking the Wednesday padded practice off for weeks now. Cole Beasley was out, too. Chidobe Awuzie missed today, making his participation on Sunday seriously in doubt.

Dez Bryant was limited today with a knee, but Dez is so tough it would take a lot to keep him out on Sunday. DeMarcus Lawrence was limited, as was Maliek Collins and Noah Brown. If they are limited again tomorrow, we’ll start to worry a little.

CB Chidobe Awuzie (hamstring), K Dan Bailey (right groin), WR Cole Beasley (concussion), T Tyron Smith (back, hip)

There’s a chance Cole Beasley will be back this week. Coach Jason Garrett gave a pretty upbeat assessment.

Also, out - Dan Bailey. Hurry back, but Mike Nugent was pretty money last week.
