With five weeks remaining in the regular season, there are currently 25 teams either in or within two games of a playoff spot.
Some people call that parity. Others prefer the term mediocrity. It really comes down to your own philosophical preferences.
For the Cowboys, this mediocrity holds some good news. Despite their 5-6 record, a win against the Redskins tonight would keep their playoff hopes alive - on paper at least.
But perhaps more importantly, a win tonight would show that the Cowboys' three-game losing streak was merely a mid-season slump and not the end of western civilization.
But can Dallas win against Washington? In a league of parity/mediocrity, picking winners becomes somewhat of a lottery, but we try to do it anyway.
You'll find our picks for Week 13 below. Eight of the 16 games are unanimous picks, but with the way the league has been this year, that doesn't mean it's going to be a boring weekend. Far from it.
