The Dallas Cowboys will hold their first practice of the week today as they prepare to play the Atlanta Falcons. Coming out of the Chiefs win, Dallas had some injury issues. Wide receivers Dez Bryant and Terrance Williams were nicked up, as were offensive lineman Tyron Smith and defensive tackle Brian Price. We got some updates today on their progress.

Dez Bryant will not practice today. According to the Cowboys, he has a knee bruise.

As for Terrance Williams, there is a possibility he will do some work at practice today. Jerry Jones had this to say about his two receivers this morning.

"I don't know about either [being able to play Sunday]," Jones said on 105.3 The Fan's Shan and RJ show [KRLD-FM], "but I don't know about either that they won't play. I think between the two, I would say I would count on both of them, really."

Well that certainly cleared things up!

As for Tyron Smith, he normally wouldn’t practice today because of his back issues, so he will be out, but now it’s because of the groin issue.

On the plus side, it looks like Chidobe Awuzie will return to practice.

The Cowboys also made some changes to the roster because of the injury to Brian Price.

Also, Jones provided a not-so-welcome update on kicker Dan Bailey.

In regards to Dan Bailey, who has missed the last three games with a groin injury, Jones said, "you're probably looking at another month or so."
