Fantasy Football 2017 waiver wire: Best pickups for week 15 of NFL action

Looking for the next big move in your fantasy league? We’ve got some advice.

NFL: Baltimore Ravens at Pittsburgh Steelers Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

Well, the playoffs are here and some of you need some targets in the waiver wire to secure yourself a championship bid. Here are some guys that may be worth the shot if you’re scrambling right now.

Blake Bortles, owned in 36% of Yahoo leagues

He’s not the most consistent product but this week he has a very favorable matchup with the Texans. Houston is giving up the second-most points to the position and Jacksonville is ready to make a playoff run.

Joe Flacco, owned in 14% of Yahoo leagues

The Ravens are furious after losing a close one to the Steelers but so are the Browns who almost got their first win. Flacco and his Ravens are far more superior in talent and the Browns are giving up the ninth-most points to quarterbacks.

Running Back

Mike Davis, owned in 38% of Yahoo leagues

The Seahawks have been inconsistent on the ground this season but against a Rams team that has trouble stopping the position. LA is giving up the second-most points to running backs this year.

Jonathan Stewart, owned in 39% of Yahoo leagues

He’s back from the dead!!! Against a great Minnesota defense, he scored three touchdowns with over 100 yards on the ground. Green Bay is giving up the tenth-most points to backs, go get him.

Wide Receiver

Travis Benjamin, owned in 14% of Yahoo leagues

With how bad the Chiefs’ secondary is playing, it may be a good idea to start this hot/cold product. Philip Rivers could spread the wealth in this game against a Chiefs’ defense allowing the second-most points to wide outs.

Cole Beasley, owned in 16% of Yahoo leagues

He’s had a really tough season as many receivers on the Cowboys have failed to deliver. However, he’s going up against a Raiders’ secondary that isn’t too worrisome. Dak Prescott had his best passing day in week 14 and it’s because his receivers started racking up the RAC yards.

Tight End

Benjamin Watson, owned in 12% of Yahoo leagues

He’s up against the Browns, who have given up the third-most points to tight ends this season. Flacco should be able to find a connection.

Mercedes Lewis, owned in 5% of Yahoo leagues

If you’re really hurting for tight end production, you can try Lewis. He’s been hit or miss this season but he gets the Texans, who give up the sixth-most points to the position.

Washington Redskins, owned in 11% of Yahoo leagues

They have had some tough offenses put whippings on them but the Cardinals are giving up the fifth-most points to defenses.

Buffalo Bills, owned in 37% of Yahoo leagues

The Dolphins will be riding high after knocking off the defending champions, it’s time for them to come back to earth. The Bills should have ample opportunity as Miami gives up the fourth-most points to defenses.

Dan Bailey, owned in 30% of Yahoo leagues

He really let us down last week but he’s not the type of guy to worry about yet. Bailey gets an Oakland team that has allowed the third-most points to kickers.

Robbie Gould, owned in 13% of Yahoo leagues

The 49ers play the Titans this week and no team has given up more points to kickers than the Tennessee Titans.
