The Cowboys have an injury situation along the defensive line. Stud defensive end Demarcus Lawrence will miss his second straight practice today, but the Cowboys are hopeful he feel better by the end of the week. Lawrence is dealing with a back situation. Also dealing with a back situation is reserve defensive end Benson Mayowa.
We’ve also have the ongoing problem of a concussion for David Irving. He will not practice again today. He gave his own update yesterday evening on his concussion issue.
Mentally I’m fine ... I’m still having headaches every day. It’s hard to put a finger on how long I’ll be out. I’m taking it day by day.

Gotta respect it, concussions are tricky business so taking whatever time he needs is the smart thing to do. The Cowboys sure could use him against the very elusive Russell Wilson, but that is secondary in this situation.
In general, this is a bad week to have defensive line issues with Wilson coming to town, he’s as hard as anyone to trap in the pocket then sack.
Tyron Smith is not going to practice today as his prospects for playing this week are getting bleaker. Orlando Scandrick practiced on a limited basis yesterday and was reportedly moving well.
