Cowboys Camp Day 4: All your highlights from the Cowboys second padded practice

Here are all the highlights from the fourth day of Cowboys’ training camp.

NFL: Dallas Cowboys Training Camp Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

The Cowboys had a second padded practice today out in Oxnard, California. Fresh off a ‘not guilty’ verdict, Jourdan Lewis is back with the squad:

Just an update on Maliek Collins, who seemed to have tweaked something yesterday. He did not participate today:

Right before practice, our very own RJ Ochoa spent some time with the man in charge, Stephen Jones:

Well, that was fast, newly-signed running back Ronnie Hillman is in pads and will be number 37:

After three days of practice, the Cowboys will be putting the breaks on Jaylon Smith for today:

After spending a veteran's day off, the guy in his 15th year put the pads back on:

It looks as though Dak and Dez are working on something that made Tony Romo and Bryant lots of cheddar:

When you are at the bottom of the roster, this is a good way to get noticed:

Sean Lee has made a declaration that takeaways are coming:

Thankfully O.C.C. is here to keep everything civil among those that get out of hand:

How much you want to bet that this was his favorite thing to tweet today?

With Ezekiel Elliott, Darren McFadden, Alfred Morris, and Ronnie Hillman, that's a pretty full running back room:

However, we need to relax on thinking this has much to do with Elliott, we've been assured this has little to do with a looming suspension:

Alright, calm down Andy Jones, they want speed but don't run out your cleats:

Dak Prescott has looked much sharper in his second year at training camp, here he is hooking it up with Gold Jacket Witt:

As was mentioned yesterday, QB Zac Dysert had season-ending back surgery, keep in mind the Cowboys will be looking for a quarterback. There are rumors that they have worked out former Baylor star Seth Russell:

Almost a hookup between Dak and Jones, Marquez White on the coverage:

Here are some more battle shots:

For more, go check out the Mothership’s Bryan Broaddus and David Helman, they will have some more action:

Oh man, this one would have been phenomenal, Dez just out there being Dez:

We have our first defensive penalty on Byron Jones trying to cover Witten:

Truer words have not been spoken:

This defense has been performing quite well and they got a few wins today:

It looks like Taco Charlton got a little banged up:

Big sigh of relief:

Looks good to me:

Oh SNAP! We got a pick-six off of Dak Prescott by Anthony Brown:

Shake it off OB1, which is exactly what he did:

This may be the funniest tweet of the day regarding Ryan Switzer:

Keep your eyes peeled for anything in regards to Switzer, he got a little banged up today:

For the second straight day, practice got a little chippy towards the end:

Ol’ Jerrah loves himself some competition:

He also had some words of encouragement for a young pass rusher, did the Cowboys snag themselves a potential beast with Moore?

Overall, the defense won another day of battle which won’t happen too often against an offense like the Cowboys’:

Broaddus says that Xavier Woods has had some standout moments too:

Well, much like yesterday, pads on pads brings out the inner beasts in guys. It was chippy and aggressive but that’s how these coaches like it. We will continue to monitor the situation with Ryan Switzer once more information is gathered.

As always, stay tuned to BTB for any training camp updates! Here are two last shots of Zeke and Dak taking care of the fans! By far the fan favorites of camp:
