The Dallas Cowboys are battling injuries on their defense as they prepare for a Monday night game against the Arizona Cardinals. Since it’s a Monday game, the first official injury report for Dallas came out today instead of yesterday. Here it is courtesy of David Helman.
First practice report of the week is out. Chido & Carroll both sat out.

The only piece of good news is that Orlando Scandrick returned in a limited capacity after have surgery done on his fractured hand. The Cowboys are hoping he will be able to go on Monday, and they might need him with the other guys in the secondary still not practicing.
Chidobe Awuzie injured the same hamstring he injured at training camp and didn’t practice today. Hamstrings are tricky so his status is very unclear. Nolan Carroll is still dealing with the effects of his concussion and will have to make it through the concussion protocol to get back on the field.
Stephen Paea is a new name on the list, he has a knee problem and sat out today. Anthony Hitchens likely has a few more weeks to go until he might be ready.
