The Dallas Cowboys find themselves at 2-2 trailing only the Washington Redskins (2-1, on a bye in Week 4) in the NFC East. Life is good. Not great, but good.
We’ve seen the Cowboys defense be a big force for them this season, and most recently we saw DeMarcus Lawrence rip off a hat trick of sacks in the second win of the season against the Detroit Lions. Sacks are a good thing.
The Hot Boyz, as they’ve come to be known, are stacking sacks and tackles for losses together. The Cowboys offense woke up a bit as well against Detroit, so things are definitely on the right path. Did I mention that reinforcements have arrived? David Irving is now eligible to return.
Suspended for the first four games of the season, the Cowboys haven’t seen much of Irving as far as the 2018 season is concerned. His issues off of the field have been well-chronicled, and he was not with the team in training camp. Will he be ready to return to the field in Week 5 against the Houston Texans? He’s reportedly in good shape.
As @Mr4thAndLong and @arisports were just discussing, David Irving is back beginning tomorrow.

Source says he's in great shape at 285 pounds.
Dallas has adjusted their roster a bit over the last few weeks as all NFL teams have, and it remains to be seen what is going to happen with Irving. Will he be welcomed back immediately? Will the Cowboys not fully activate him right away? Will he practice this week?
We’re about to get some answers to these questions.
