Another week for the Cowboys with no real surprises when it comes to inactives. Brice Butler was supposed to be playing a role this week for the Cowboys, but after showing up on the injury report on Friday the Cowboys decided to sit him down on gameday. Newcomer Darian Thompson will be making his debut at safety and play a key role on special teams.

The Jaguars injury report reveals that Jalen Ramsy will be active. Leonard Fournette and DJ Hayden lead the players that are out for the Jaguars. The Cowboys will get a break on defense with Fournette out. Let’s see if they can take advantage of it.
It’s hard to call games in the first half of the season “must wins”, but this is a game the Cowboys need to win. Right now, they are right in the middle of the division race. Whether you view them as a good team or not, the Cowboys have a chance of winning the NFC East. A win at home against a tough Jacksonville team would be a huge lift for a team that desperately needs just that.
