The NFC East is regarded as the NFL’s most storied division, and for good cause. The only division in the NFL that’s had every team win a Super Bowl (yuck, Eagles) will see one of its more historic rivalries on display once again this Sunday in the Dallas Cowboys and Washington Redskins.
Dallas heads to our nation’s capital fresh off of a big-time win against the Jacksonville Jaguars while the Redskins are coming off of an impressive victory over the Carolina Panthers at FedEx Field. This is the first time that the Cowboys will take on Washington while they are quarterbacked by Alex Smith, but they did defeat him last season while he was with the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Redskins have never beaten the Cowboys in the Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott era, and it’ll be a whole lot tougher than ever with the defense they’re bringing to town. DeMarcus Lawrence, Jaylon Smith, Leighton Vander Esch, and maybe even Sean Lee are definitely going to help the cause of the Hot Boyz.
This could be the first road win of the season for the Cowboys, and it could also be the first time this season that they win two games in a row. Here’s our stream for everything you need to know about it all. Remember that you can also stay up to date with the Blogging The Boys podcast feed and our multiple shows.
